The new Porsche Cayenne Coupe – Purposeful Elegance.
Porsche is extending the Cayenne family with a more sporting derivation – Coupe. Main features of the new Cayenne Coupe model include unique styling with a sharp rear, an active spoiler, and two different roof styles – a panoramic glass roof as standard, and an option of carbon-fiber. Dynamic proportions are combined with design make the new Cayenne Coupe the most sporting-looking model in the market segment. It is supported by a roof spoiler, which points out the distinctive Coupe silhouette. The front windscreen and A-pillar are shallower than in the Cayenne as a roof sits 20 mm lower. More aggressive rear doors and wheel arches broaden the shoulders of the car giving even more muscular stance.
The active spoiler fitted to the Turbo version of Cayenne was the first feature this type in SUV. The new Cayenne Coupe goes a step further in this technology, a fixed roof spoiler is combined with a new adaptive rear spoiler located beneath the window as part of Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA). The spoiler extends by 135 mm at speeds of 56 mph/90 km/h and over, increasing the aerodynamic pressure on the rear.
The standard large panoramic glass roof has an area of 2.16m2, a carbon roof being offered as an option. The glazed area gives all passengers a sense of space, while the integrated roller blind protects against sun exposure and colder weather.
An optional carbon roof with the centre seam is similar to that of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it is available in one of three lightweight sports packages. These also include new, 22-inch GT Design alloys, Sport Design styling, seat centres in checked fabric material, and Carbon&Alcantara interior trim accents. For the Cayenne Turbo Coupe, the package also includes a sports exhaust system.
The new Porsche Cayenne CoCoupéffers plenty of space for four passengers. Brand new sports seats with integrated headrests give both comfort and support. Rear passengers are sitted lower than in the regular Cayenne, to have enough of headroom despite the vehicle’s dropping roof. A rear bench that has the characteristics of two individual seats, optional comfort rear seats – can be ordered at no additional cost.
The everyday use boot capacity is 625 litres and can be increased to 1,540 litres by folding rear seats. Modern dynamic design and custom styling differentiate it from the Cayenne. It also utilises all the technical highlights, which include powerful drive systems, innovative chassis, a modern operating system, and comprehensive connectivity.
Porsche Cayenne Coupe is available with two high-performance engines. The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 delivers 340 PS (250 kW) and maximum torque of 450 Nm. The standard fitted Sport Chrono Package gives a reading of sprint from 0-62 mph achieved in 6.0 seconds, 5.9 seconds with the optional lightweight sports packages. Top speed is 150 m/240 km per hour.
The top-of-the-range Cayenne Turbo Coupe is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, 550 PS (404 kW), and impressive torque of 770 Nm. The Cayenne Turbo Coupe can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds.
